Colorado Springs Western Street Breakfast Donates Tokens to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Pikes Peak Region

The Pikes Peak Range Riders and its Foundation are supporters of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Pikes Peak Region. On May 11 Corliss Palmer, President of the Pikes Peak Range Riders Foundation, Russ Freeman, President of the Pikes Peak Range Riders and Kevin Kaveney, Co-Chair of the Street Breakfast Committee delivered 166 Street Breakfast tokens the Boys and Firls Clubs of the Pikes Peak Region. Receiving the tokens were Jrace Rider, Senior Director; Marli Fitzgerald, Development Manager; and Sherrell Bethel, Director of Operations.

A token is a commemorative wooden coin created for each year’s Street Breakfast. It is your ticket to get a great breakfast, but it is also yours to keep. This year’s event is on Wednesday, June 21 from 5:30 – 9 a.m. at the intersection of Pikes Peak Avenue and Tejon Street. Breakfast of eggs, pancakes, milk, juice and coffee is $5 (cash only) and children 5 and under eat free.

Advanced purchases of tokens are available at Boot Barn (5623 Academy Blvd or 13271 Bass Pro Drive), Cavender’s (5770 Carefree Circle) and Northwestern Mutual (2 N. Cascade Ave. Suite 900).

Proceeds from the breakfast benefit local military and their families.
