Happy Birthday, Angie!

Spending time with friends and family is very important to me. I've written a couple of stories where I have shared how I do this. There is a group of my best girlfriends with whom I meet twice a month for Bible Study (we've named the group "Women of Worth"), and we joke about how it took us a year to do a six-week Bible study! No Voo Doo Dolls, I Promise (Memorable Ski Trip)

I know I missed the deadline for winning the ski trip to Loveland, but I still wanted to share my most memorable ski trip:

Gift Exchange Leads to Fond Memories

What better way to spend Christmas than to get together with your closest friends? We all gathered at Teresa and Richard's new home in the Village Seven neighborhood to celebrate, fellowship, eat and exchange gifts.

It's Not a Christmas Tree Without the Lights...

...bubble lights, that is!

One of my fondest memories as a child of Christmas is decorating the tree, and especially when my dad added the bubble lights! These are hand-blown glass lights with colored water inside, and when the light heats up, bubbles rise up the column of glass. I also enjoyed putting tinsel on the trees, but don't do it too sloppily or Mom would have to redo it!
