The Palmer Lake Volunteer Fire Department and the American Legion Post 9-11 invite front range citizens to come celebrate America’s veterans with a special star shine ceremony at the base of Sundance Mountain on Tuesday November 11th at 5:15 PM. The star will be lit at 5:25 PM. The ceremony will feature veterans who will lead a countdown to activate the Palmer Lake Star and have it shine throughout the night in honor of Veterans’ Day.

Two St. Mary’s High School seniors learned this month that they are being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program.
Michael Klophenstein learned earlier this month that he’d been named a National Merit Semifinalist. And Aman Mital was named as one of the National Merit Scholarship Program’s Commended Students.

Beautiful weather and a great cause brought together the golfers of the St. Mary’s High School community for the annual St. Mary’s High School Golf Classic. The event was held at the Country Club of Colorado on Sept. 26.
