The Palmer Lake Volunteer Fire Department and the American Legion Post 9-11 invite front range citizens to come celebrate America’s veterans with a special star shine ceremony at the base of Sundance Mountain on Tuesday November 11^th at 5:15 PM.   The star will be lit at 5:25 PM.   The ceremony will feature veterans who will lead a countdown to activate the Palmer Lake Star and have it shine throughout the night in honor of Veterans’ Day.

Beautiful weather and a great cause brought together the golfers of the St. Mary’s High School community for the annual St. Mary’s High School Golf Classic. The event was held at the Country Club of Colorado on Sept. 26.



“The weather was perfect,” said Penny Heiniger, chair of the event, “a terrific day for golf and dinner outdoors. We had the dinner next to the aquatic center by the lake, great ambiance for our big group.”
