Rocky Mountain National Park Open Despite Wildfire

Rocky Mountain National Park remains open despite a wildfire burning in a heavily wooded portion of the park.

Fire managers said the fire grew to nearly 900 acres Monday. It was estimated at 888 acres earlier in the day, from the 1,500 acres they estimated before mapping flights were done.

The park is open, but two trails and a road have been closed to make way for equipment and firefighters. Cow Creek Trail and North Boundary Trail are closed as is McGraw Ranch Road. ...… Continue
