Memorial Day Isn't an Excuse for a 3-Day Weekend

Congress disrespected those who have fallen in the service of our country when it made Memorial Day (originally May 30) an excuse for a 3-day weekend, and it continues to disrespect the fallen as long as it ignores Senator Inouye's repeated pleas to restore the traditional date and dignity of Memorial Day.

If you care, you can vote to restore Memorial Day and sign a petition to support Senator Inouye. Help bring back the true meaning of Memorial day. Restore the traditional…

Politics in an election year

1. Owen Hill (R) is running for Colorado State Senate, District 10. Visit his website at to read his views on the economy. He says he wants to help lower taxes in order to bring business back to Colorado - I assume he's talking 'big business.' What's Beneath the Surface Can Kill You

The skin is our largest organ and, within seconds, absorbs anything that is applied to it.  In today’s toxic world, some of the worst offenders are the skin care and beauty products intended to make us more attractive or keep us youthful.  Each company, “natural” ones included, is rushing to market the latest and greatest anti-aging beauty “miracle”.
