On November 13 & 14th, 2009 Alexander Film Company will celebrate it's 90th
Anniversary by serving complimentary cookies, coffee and tea, showing old Alexander Film's, be accepting any old donated film and Alexander Film memorabilia, offering a special two day only 10% discount to anyone that mentions our 90th Anniversary Special and talking with anyone that may have been a part of our great history (or their parents/relative who were involved with the company) or would like to talk about our companies history. Our hours on Friday November 13th are 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday November 14th from 10am to 4pm.

Founded in Spokane, WA in 1919 the Alexander Film Company became the world's largest producer of theater film advertising. The company moved to Englewood, Colorado in 1923 and finally moved to Colorado Springs in 1928. A division of Alexander Industries, The Alexander Aircraft Company became the second largest builder of airplanes in the world with 33 distributors and 143 dealers throughout the nation in the 1930’s.

Today, Alexander Film & Video Services is a leading media services company that provides award-winning video production, streaming video services, digital media archiving, broadcast duplication, digital distribution (satellite), audio editing, CD/DVD/USB drive duplication/replication, graphic design, blank media supplies and much more! Are you Interested in history or the paranormal? Come and take a guided tour that travels back in time to the early 1880's, learn the history of this magnificent castle, how Manitou Springs was founded, and maybe an unexplained occurrence of your own. This is the first time in almost 40 years that the public has been allowed full access to the grounds of the castle to come and experience the rich history and this incredible gothic revival architecture. We are celebrating the 138th year of this historic property. The two hour tours start every Saturday at 11:00am and 1:00pm. on the front lawn. Prices are $12.00 for adults 12 and up, children 8 to 11 are $8.00, and active military are $10.00. Cash and Checks are recommended. Please call (719) 685-1864 to reserve attendance.
